Scenes at Oracle

The following 3 pictures aren't very good, but the light was really bad. It's the Borders bookstore where I often go with my books to read them. They have a good and comfortable cafeteria, that's why. Most of the time the parking lot is full, especially when somebody's playing music.

Pictures taken at a party. Host was the guy left of me in the left picture. Strange enough, on both pictures people look as if they've just eaten "Insanity Sauce (The hottest sauce in the universe)" or as if their boss had just fired them, but in fact it was a very nice party (ca. 10 people there).

Over Christmas I was in San Diego. I drove there on Highway 1, which is directly at the coast. On my way back, on the same road, I stopped in Santa Barbara. This is a place I would recommend to visit. Take yourself time, I didn't have much of it. This town has a great relaxed atmosphere.

Dr. Graupner (the "Dr." is new) visited me while he was in Palo Alto for a job interview with HP. We had a great lunch in Santa Cruz, so that I missed my flying lesson afterwards, because we had spent too much time there.
Update: Dr. Graupner now works at HP Labs.

Here is a picture taken somewhere south of San Jose. Castro Valley? Don't remember the name of that beautiful valley.
