Maybe my setup is just different from yours, but i am
providing my local intranet, the intraweb and the
internet with dns-information, i also have configured
another machine inside the intraweb as slave of the the main named for cacheing-purposes to reduce named-traffic.
And it all works just with one main-named. Only configuration of the named.boot-file was neccessary to achieve serving of multiple domains. I am now really thinking that i have totally missunderstood the principes of DNS cause i saw the request of running more than one namedīs already otherwhere. Would you please be so kind and tell me why it is necessary to run more than just one named-service? DNS is complicated enough, running more than one daemon seems to me like the multiplication of the complication. Best regards in advance
