Re: Question Problem with MASQ and NAT -- (without arp patch) (rich)

still no luck. I know someone here mentioned they were
running NAT and MASQ. They are at different levels and
should work. I think it is related to the ARP of
the systems trying to talk. However, if I try
to publish the ARP or the NAT IP address on eth1, the
interface it should be assigned to, the arp -s ... pub
command ALWAYS assigns the IP address to eth0.

Is there something I am missing? Is there patch CODE
that needs to be in the kernel somewhere??

thanks for any help,
rich
